Our stay at your home was wonderful. Beautiful weather the whole time. The condo was perfectly equipped. We made several long distance calls we're responsible for. Also, the last day we were there I dropped the coffee pot and it cracked. I took the pot from the other coffee maker above the fridge. Did not have enough time to replace it so please do.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to St. Croix and our stay at your condo. We ate most of our meals in the condo and found the kitchen to be fully equipped. There wasn't anything lacking in the way of dishes, utensils, etc. We found the large fan to be very useful in the evening. The grounds around Gentle Winds are incredible. The beach and pool were very well maintained. The snack shack was an added bonus.

Your place is lovely. We had a great time. The pool and beach very nice and we enjoyed them a lot. The house has almost everything any family could need. The beach amenities (chairs, bags, coolers) were nice to have. We were pleased that you had a pack-n-play and the highchair because it came in very handy with our toddler. We look forward to coming back in the future.

Dear Kent & Dawn,

Our stay at Gentle Winds condo was wonderful. Your notes were perfect and we followed your directions. This was the first visit to the Virgin Islands. When we fully retire I would like to stay a month at a time!

The people were kind, the beach and the pool were picture perfect. We learned very quickly that you cannot drink and drive, the roads were too unstructured and required constant focus.

Everything appeared to work normally in the condo. We kept the A/C at 75 to 77. The condo was equipped with everything you needed. Caribbean Breeze was perfect. Thank you for your kindness,

Hi Kent & Dawn,
The condo was wonderful! By all accounts. We absolutely loved every moment there. It is perfectly located, fully equipped and has/d all we needed to have a wonderful relaxing vacation. Although we did not need to cook, (took the wife out for lunch & dinner every day to spare her cooking on the celebration of our 40th anniversary & her birthday) we noticed that there are all required utensils to make whatever meals required.

Thanks again for everything. We certainly would like to come back again in future.

Just wanted to let you know that we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Caribbean Breeze. We loved St. Croix. It is truly beautiful and with so much to do, needed to remember to relax..lol. I am so glad I found your rental--it is so well equipped, beautifully decorated and in a great location. The beach is picturesque...we also loved the shuffle board and ping pong :) Hope we will get the chance to return.

I also wanted to give you a heads up that I will be putting the keys back in the mail to you tomorrow, so you should have them shortly. Please let me know when you receive them back.

The FYI packet and condo keys in advance made it very easy. Good idea! Directions to the condo were easy to follow. Skyline Car Rentals were easy to deal with also. Your condo is wonderful. "Very homey :)" We used the washer and dryer - they worked fine. Your assortment of pans is terrific. We cooked breakfast daily and a few dinners. All those seasonings! Yeah! Everything we needed - we located. Very well equipped. We did lose power for about 1-2 hours one evening - we used your oil lamps and it was very romantic. Beds were comfortable. The condo was very clean and well organized.

The resort is really nice - well kept. We've been to other resorts that were not as well kept. All people we spoke with very very friendly and helpful.

We had a fantastic trip. Our week had beautiful weather & the condo was a perfect fit for our family. Having the beach & pool just seconds away allowed us the flexibility to meet the chaotic needs of a two year old. We appreciated being able to get laundry done (reason - see above 2 yr old) and cook for ourselves. The quick repair of the kitchen drain was reassuring. There are a few burnt out bulbs you may want to get someone to replace (over the kitchen peninsula). Thanks for a great week!

   A lovely stay. Really great location - not too close and not too far from anywhere on the island.

   Were not sure if there was recycling so we just left bottles :).

   We all felt very much at home and appreciated how well equipped and welcoming everything - everyone was!

Hi Kent, Thanks for the use of the condo - it was great. Sorry about the call for the master shower! I must've read your info sheet at least 7 times and somehow I "missed" the pull down instructions. I felt like an idiot after I looked at the sheet again!

Everything went well - the condo was very clean when we arrived. We cleaned the kitchen and laundry room before we left and left a nice tip for Jennifer. The second bathroom toilet has a tendency to run - I had to stay on the boys to make sure they "jiggled" the handle. (has been repaired) Other than that, everything was just fine.

You have a very nice condo, thank you for renting to us. Perfect location on the island to get to everything, but yet also in a great spot too. We had a great time!

The GPS recommendation was a huge help, especially coming/arriving at night. It also made getting around the island a breeze.

Overall had a great trip celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and hope to return.

Hello Kent - As I mentioned on the phone, we were delighted with the condo. It was very clean and well maintained. The array of kitchen utensils was an added bonus. The condo is extremely inviting and comfortable. Yvonne and I agreed that it was everything as advertised and more.

Hopefully we will return some time and we would definitely recommend Caribbean Breeze!

Caribbean Breeze at Gentle Winds in St. Croix is a dream destination. The condo was easy to find, is comfortable, nicely furnished and provides a welcoming environment. The most stunning asset is the view from the unit of the ocean and beautiful grounds of Gentle Winds resort. Kent and Dawn go above and beyond with providing information and assistance. We enjoyed the island during off season visiting the historical, ecological and local sites. Driving on the left is no problem. Our adventurous sons, (ages 18 & 22) determined that the beach at GW is the best. Right out of a commercial! Snorkeling, swimming, relaxing on the beach and getting a bite from the beach shack bar provided all we needed just steps from the condo. We have stayed in vacation rentals in various locations for over 15 yrs and this has been one of our best experiences. We highly recommend Caribbean Breeze. Kudos to the Vreelands!

PS bought a portable grill & left it there. If you don't want it, have cleaners take it (grill is still there under the stairs on 1st floor).

We loved "Gentle Winds" You've certainly found the perfect spot on wonderful St Croix. We loved the peaceful little swimming beach. Cane Bay was close and we enjoyed snorkeling there.

Had 3 excellent dinners - Waves at Cane Bay has a nice little "Grotto" down below, right on the water.

"Salud" - excellent meal & music.

CB's front door keys are enclosed as you instructed.

We enjoyed a great week on St. Croix and certainly enjoyed living in I-4 during that week. You have a lovely unit. The view of the sea and the hills is memorable. I believe we left the unit in as good or better shape than we found it, and, we found it quite ship shape. We appreciated how well equipped CB is. It was like stepping into someone's home, which it is.

We really enjoyed the condo. The beach was great and not crowded which was a plus. The condo itself was well kept and clean.

Positives - Location!
                -Lots of towels, beach towels, spices, pool floats, zip lock bags, foil, etc. Also well stocked for families with small children (we didn'r need any of that but can appreciate it from when we did have them.)

Awesome place. Very nice. Provided items that we did not expect. We did towels in laundry, but left a few, sorry. We landed at tail end of storm, radio saved us. Only thing I can think of is to run antenna up the wall, but we figured out a way to get reception. If I decided to do the Buck Island swim again, we will be back!

Wonderful condo and fantastic views. It was extremely convenient to the beach. Condo had absolutely everything one could need. Excellent guide books available to help navigate around the island and plan the trip. Location of condo was wonderful and we liked that it was away from the towns. Everyone we met at Gentle Winds was extremely kind and helpful. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at your condo and St. Croix. Thank you for being so easy to work with. We had an awesome vacation. Wonderful view from the balcony. Having beach towels & frozen mugs made the beach even better. The condo felt like home. We had a great time. The condo was everything we needed and more. After our trip to Buck island with Captain Heinz, we developed a bit of a snorkeling bug. It was great that the condo had all the equipment we needed. We were able to snorkel for a few hours every day.

Once again, we had a wonderful time. The proximity to the condo beach was very convenient.

We had a great time and the condo is wonderful. There were a few noisy mornings while guys worked on the building, but hey, they had a job to do & we in a slice of heaven! We really did love it & look forward to returning. The only suggestion I have is to color code the keys. Watching me try to figure out the deadbolt key from the door key really amused Bobby! You have a beautiful home & we met loads of really nice people. Thank you so much & hope to do business with you again.

We are safely back in Norway after 2 wonderful weeks. Even though it was a long trip for us it was worth it. The only thing my wife did not enjoy was the ride on Cape Air in the small twin engine plane.

We found the apartment well furnished and we found all we needed. We found all your information and instructions useful and complete.

The bottom line is that we had a great time and we may very well return one day.

Kent & Dawn, Your place is wonderful and very comfortable. All the amenities are there and make you feel right at home. Just when I thought I did not have "something", I opened a closet or drawer and there it was. Wonderful views of the ocean and the sound of the waves were priceless.

We loved staying at Gentle Winds and found everyone really nice. Karen at the Tiki Bar provided excellent meals. It was truly a slice of Heaven.

We went on Jolly Rodger with Capt. Mike. He was very professional and we had a blast. I highly recommend his tour to your guests.

The condo was very nice. We ended up leaving quite a bit of booze, water shoes, a small styro cooler, a radio & many other items to contribute to one's stay. It was nice to have used some of the stuff others left behind. Very Helpful.
