We've stayed at both the properties owned by
Kent and Dawn and can't speak highly enough of both the properties and Kent
and Dawn themselves. They go out of there way to provide top notch service
at excellent rental vacation properties. For Caribbean Breeze, the location
of this condo is in the best location at Gentle Winds with an excellent
front row view of the ocean and pool. Gentle Winds has a great pool, beach,
and other amenities that makes this rental property amazing at a great value.

Many thanks for the use of your
condo at Gentle Winds; we found the place to be terrific!!
The layout of the facility, location on the island, and
the pool and beach could not have been better. Your
unit is definitely in the best building (location) w/in
Gentle Winds. We had friends that stayed in one of
the units upstairs (they have two girls as well, ages 6
and 7, our girls are 8 and 11 so it worked out) - adults
and kids greatly enjoyed it all. What topped it off
was the lack of people - I bet less than 25% of the units
were occupied. A far cry from the wintertime per Dave
(the bartender by the pool).
A summary of our trip:
* Swam extensively at GW (both
pool and ocean)
* Snorkeled at Cane Bay two
days (really good)
* Did a half day trip to Buck
Island (Big Beard Adventures) - highlight of the trip.
If we ever go again to St. Croix we will do the half day
trip twice! Plus the guys who ran the boat were outstanding.
* Spent half a day touring the
entire island in a counter-clockwise fashion starting at
GW (hit Fredricksted, south St. Croix, Port Udall)
* Visited The Buccaneer for
half a day (beach)
* Visited Christiansted on 3
or 4 occasions
* Ate dinner out twice - Zion's
Modern Kitchen and the buffet at Carambola on Friday night
(thought highly of both)
* Ate lunch at Cane Bay, Angry
Nate's (Christiansted), The Buccaneer, and the Beach Shack
there at GW (all good)
* Visited two grocery stores
for supplies: the Food Town you recommended and then
the larger store in the center of the island - Plaza East
* Found a new beer - Presidente
(both regular and Light), brewed in the DR

Caribbean Breeze was everything you said
it would be. What a beautiful view. It was clean and your housekeeper, Jennifer,
was cooperative and excellent. It was interesting to find out that the person
who recommended Gentle Winds to our friends had actually stayed in your
unit a number of years ago.

We loved your condo - Thanks for having the
guy fix the dryer. The condo was very well equipped & the beds were comfortable.
We also liked the very informative guest book. Our friends in the other
condo did not have all the same info.
We hope to come back & will recommend you.

Your condo was fantastic! It had the perfect
floor plan for our threesome. we loved that the two bathrooms separated
our 2 bedrooms - giving plenty of privacy.
Everything we needed for the comfort of home,
you had! Nothing was lacking.
One night, just after I came in from sitting
on the beach, a huge leatherback turtle came ashore and laid her eggs. The
people who saw it showed me a photo the next day - I missed this once in
a lifetime experience by 10 minutes! AARGH...

Our stay
8/5-8/19, 2015Hi Kent,
Just have to say what a great time we had
at your condo. It was easy to get to from the airport. The
condo was in the best possible spot on the entire property. It
was the closest to the ocean and pool and It also had unobstructed views
of the ocean and pool. The kitchen had everything you could possibly
need to cook. The bedrooms were large and comfortable, The
living room was spacious and had a see to believe view. The convenience
of having 2 bathrooms with 2 shower/tub combos really came in handy
since our we were traveling with our kids. The deck gave you the
perfect view of the sunset every night. The beach and pool
were never crowded. A few times it felt like you were on a secluded
beach. The beach water was warm and crystal clear aqua blue.
The sand very soft. The food and drinks in the tiki bar...excellent.
The condo residents were very friendly and welcoming.

a great condo at Gentle Winds! Perfect location, Perfect beach & just overall
a perfect place to escape & relax. The condo had everything we needed &
appreciate the washer & dryer to use during our length of stay.
We really hope to be able to return to St.
Croix again and will most certainly stay at your place again.
It was truly paradise!

What a wonderful unit you have with amazing

Condo well equipped & well stocked spices,
condiments appreciated. We loved the pool & beach area; even hit a few golf
balls. Restaurants in Cane Bay area were great. We are already talking about
making a return trip next yr.
